You might have gotten here by mistake. It might be fate that we met. You might have even found my soggy business card in the bathroom at the local pub. Either way, you're here, and that's a great start. I happen to be a web designer, computer technician, as well as a freelance logo/graphic designer. I go with " freelance" since I am self taught - although more than sufficient. I do not have a degree in design. With that said, I won't charge you an arm and a leg, like everyone else trying to pay off their college tuition!
My rates:
$28/hr - Diagnose | Repair | Trouble Shoot | Install. (Most cases it's just $28 + parts)
$10-50 - per HTML/CSS page. I will not charge a fee for a code that only took a few minutes. The more coding, the more it will be.
$100-500 - for complete site. I will setup the domain for you. Setup hosting, design graphics, work with you/company to get the information displayed correctly. After the site is complete, and billed, client will receive the copyright to ALL rights of the work. You may modify it the way you/your company please.
$75-250 - Logo design. Be aware that all logos are completed from scratch. I work with you or your company to pick out colors, shape ideas and overall idea of what is desired. If no ideas are presented - no issue there! Prepare to be impressed!
$5- 400 - Photoshop work. You notice the pay is very different. It ranges from the time and effort, and the size of the image being worked on. If this is going to be used for a billboard, it will need a higher DPI and resolution. If this is a business card layout and image from scratch - $30. Copyright is given over to the client after payment is received.

I would like to note that I work on an honor system. I do this part time away from my job. This is a passion of mine, I just don't have all the time in the world to pursue it. With that said, I don't expect the client to pay me until the work is finished and the overall verdict is excellent. I will gladly upload finished website codes to the client's server. Depending on how much I am charging on photoshop work it could have a watermark. Logos will remain on the honor system, as if stolen, the proof is in the .pdf.
I work though referrals, so if you don't like it - Don't pay. Don't recommend.
